This beautiful late 19th century Chinese reverse painted glass snuff bottle is an incredible example of the intricate skill required for reverse painting with a detailed scene inside the front and back surfaces. This painting technique is known as "nei hua" or "inside painting" and dates back as far as 1820. China, circa 1890. Measures: 5.25” H, 3.25” W.
