Vintage wooden beer pot from Bhutan, mid-20th century. This pot was used as container for Tongpa, the ubiquitous fermented barley drink of the Tibetans. It is fashioned by hand from a single piece of wood, with a lacquered finish. Condition: It is in good condition. There is one eroded spot on one area of the base, as well as an old indentation on the body of the piece. Dimensions: 8.5 inches in diameter by 7.75 inches tall.
