Pair of Art Nouveau andirons by Louis Majorelle (Nancy), France, circa 1900. wrought iron and brass. Each : height : 12.2"(31cm), width : 14.8"(37.6cm), depth : 20.9"(53cm). Condition : very good. The same pair of andirons is exhibited at the Museum of the Ecole de Nancy in Nancy. IIlustrated in 'LE MODERN STYLE' by Laurence Buffet-Chalié, BASCHET & Cie Editeur, 13 rue Saint-Georges, Paris 9e, 1975, page #182 (see photo).
