18th Century Architectural Door Carving

About the Item

Part of a set of hand carved door surround that was from an 18th century house in the Netherlands. The other part of the set is dated 1728. The piece has carved moldings incorporated with carved ribbons including the family name of H. Van Rossum under what is assumed to be his family armorial. This is a lovely piece, and has wonderful craftsmanship.
