Antique Walnut & Oak Church Railing

About the Item

This stunning antique architectural piece is a conversation starter in any space! Originally it would have served as an altar rail at the front of a church. It is beautifully carved with three fleur de lis forms, one on each end and one designating a separate space offset from the center. A slanted shelf measuring 8-½”deep is divided into four large sections and one noticeably smaller section. The oak and walnut have gained a warm patina over the years, accentuating the stellar craftsmanship of the woodwork. All sides are finished, make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look!
