About the Item

A pair of large brass letterboxes by Pearson of Birmingham, dated 1956. Made for a County Court. Back plate marked with Queen Elizabeth II royal cipher: ER and 1956. Aperture width: 11 3/4 inches - 30 cm. Supplies with fixing bolts which can be cut to fit the door. J R Pearson, Architectural metalware manufacturers established 1878, Birmingham.
