Glazed White Porcelain Embossed Antique ‘Severn’ Toilet or WC

About the Item

An excellent condition glazed white porcelain embossed antique toilet by Charles Winn & Co. circa 1890. This model is the ‘Severn’ No. 183000 and features beautiful, embossed relief decoration to the outside that brings elegance to any period bathroom or vintage ensuite. It is designed for use with a high level cistern and the waste exits through the base. Founded in 1859, Charles Winn and Co. were manufacturers of sanitaryware, pumps, valves, cisterns and machinery based in Birmingham, UK.
