Victorian Double Ended Copper Roll Top Bath Tub

About the Item

A superb Victorian copper roll top bath tub dating from the late 19th century. This character bathtub is over 130 years old and is of good quality, heavier than other antique copper baths that we have seen. It has a distinctly French look with a generous roll top and central waste. Remnants of tinning and marks from use through the decades gives it a beautiful, distressed look that instils any old fashioned or period bathroom with history. Circa 1890, this antique copper bath is unusually stamped with makers mark ‘G. Charles’. This bath will comfortably take 50cm of water.
