18th Century Old Oak Plank Door

About the Item

This old oak plank door looks as though it has been taken straight from history. It is over 300 years old, dating from the early 1700s. Perhaps it was once the door to a medieval castle, monastery or church with its thick plank construction and large iron strap hinges. It has a rustic look with an aged, timeworn appearance that tells the story of times gone by. In the 21st century, it makes a striking exterior door to a country farmhouse or period barn with its antique look. Alternatively, it could be used as an internal door in a period home.
