Pair of Antique 18th Century Doors with Inlaid Paintings

This simple yet striking set of 18th century doors were reclaimed from a villa in the heart of Tuscany. A beautiful pair of papier peint paintings are inlaid in the original door frames—adding another element of prestige. Papier Peint: Literally meaning "painted paper," Papier Peint was invented in China. This hand-painted paper was usually used to cover and decorate interior walls or partitions of a home—much like modern day wall paper. Dimensions of each: With frame 116.75 H x 49 W x 2 D. Door 81.25 H x 40 W x 1.5 D.
