19th Century Neoclassical 'Pillars with Decoration' Fireback / Backsplash
About the Item
19th century French neoclassical fireback with two pillars and a floral decoration. The pillars stand for freedom, one of the three values of the French revolution.
The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter. The condition is good, no cracks.
