19th Century Victorian Leather Bound Fire Bucket, c.1890
About the Item
Antique 19th Century Victorian crested leather fire bucket, with rich patina and an Armorial crest with the original leather handle and studwork. The crest features a garter bearing the motto Honi soit qui mal y pense ('Evil to him who evil thinks'), which symbolises the Order of the Garter, an ancient order of knighthood of which the Queen is Sovereign.
CONDITION
In Good Condition - wear consistent with usage. Please refer to photographs
