This is an antique cellarette. An English, mahogany and brass fireside store, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1750. Fascinating hexagonal form with delightful figuring Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich russet hues Brass cappings show delightful golden hues throughout Dressed with circular brass drop handles to the sides and lid Useful as a fireside store, being suitable for all fuel types Could also be useful as a distinctive lamp table This is a superb antique cellarette, with a pleasingly clean interior and a striking external appeal. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
