Beautiful 19th century French Napoleon III style five panel fireplace screen made by Bouhon Frères. The screen is made of brass, iron, and iron mesh. Bouhon Frères were prominent French producers of fireplace tools in the 19th century. The firm participated in the 1878 and 1900 Paris Expositions Universelles. The condition of the screen is good.

    Wear consistent with age and use. The fireplace screen is in a good condition and is fit for use in front of the fireplace. There is a decolored spot in one of the bottom supports (see photo).
