Monumental 19th Century Repoussé Brass Log Bin, Dutch, c.1860
About the Item
A monumental 19th century repoussé brass log bin, Dutch c.1860, lion mask ring handles to either side, supported on three legs with flamboyant lion masks above neat hoof feet, iron rod stretchers beneath linked by central ring, strikingly exuberant design of fruit cornucopia and extravagant scrolls, further enhanced by hammered and chased work to the repoussage.
