A Victorian antique fire guard often known as a nursery guard as it completely surrounds the fire, this one has a bowed centre with straight sides go flat against the fireplace
The guard has a decorative fine brass mesh infill and a very pretty curved shape with a brass bottom and top rail which has an integral handle, the guard is in good all round condition
The fender is 17” high, 6” deep and 28” long
