Vintage Neoclassical Brown Leather, Iron and Brass Fire Surround Fender Bench

Pair, Magnificent 19th Century Bronze, Iron & Feather Pulled Floor Lamp Torchieres. Likely Russian in original, possibly outdoor light posts from an important building. Extremely heavy gilt bronze bases with Neoclassical scroll work accented by fine wrought iron feathers. The center stem (which hides the electrical work) is surrounded by 4 finely cast bronze rods with additional central twists for detail. Studded iron work gives further support and detailing. Striking and highly stylish, handcrafted fire fender. This stunning, bronze and brass fireplace fender is a great example of the quality and beauty that artisans were creating in the late 1800s here in Europe. The design is where they started and the top quality crafted & organically stylized details with their amazing patina, makes this design very attractive and decorative. There are a few minor imperfections (in the form of minor dents), but otherwise this rare antique is in superb condition.
