18th Century Italian Travertine Marble Fire Mantel

About the Item

This very early 18th century Italian travertine marble fireplace was sourced from a property in Kensington and removed during remodelling. It features an elaborate design, the frieze and jambs beautifully embellished with carved scrolls and clam shells certain to bring beauty and interest to any room. Centuries old, this antique stone fireplace has stood the test of time, telling the story of the styles and grandeur of 18th century Italian architecture.
