19th Century Empire Marble Fireplace Mantelpiece, Carved Columns and Lion Heads

19th century unique Empire style brown Bois-Jourdan marble fireplace mantelpiece, with a white statuary carrara hand-carved Roman Rosette on the Centre Tableau; Flanked Either Side By Columns; Finley Carved Lion Heads, Circa 1815. This Marble Was Later Used In Parts Of The Empire State Building.. Measurements: Shelf width: 64 ¼" (163 cm) Shelf depth: 15" (38 cm) Overall height: 46½" (118 cm) Opening width: 44¼" (112.5 cm) Opening height: 36" (91.5 cm) Base width: 61¾" (157 cm) Rebate: 7 ½" (19 cm).
