19th Century French Cast Stone Fireplace Mantel with Floral Design
About the Item
Crafted from cast stone in the late 19th century, this fireplace mantel was discovered in a charming country estate in northern France. Adorned with a floral motif, it boasts a central basket of flowers on the header, flanked by sunflower medallions, and elegant, fluted legs.
The mantel shelf features a refined beveled edge, adding to its timeless appeal. Its captivating color palette of old black and pink paint, gracefully weathered with time, lends it a unique charm and character that speaks volumes about its rich heritage.
Found in Normandy, France, late 19th century, and made of cast stone.
The fireplace is currently in four pieces (as removed), does not stand on its own, and requires professional installation; no missing pieces.
Mantel has been lightly cleaned, but not altered in any way.
Small chips can be found here and there.
Overall the mantel is in excellent condition with no major damage or repairs.
