19th Century Victorian Fire Grate in the Georgian Manner

About the Item

A 19th Century Victorian fire grate in the Georgian manner probably by T. Elisley. A high arch back plate with a cast central urn and trailing bellflowers each side, flanked by shaped sides and polished square standard posts mounted with polished brass finials, a shaped three barred fire front flanked in turn by polished brass etched side wings. Below a shaped pierced polished brass apron all supported on tapered etched legs with further larger matching finials. English 1890c.
