About the Item

An antique early 19th century Georgian limestone fireplace. This fireplace is over 200 years old and showcases exposed layers, creating a textured finish with various tones; it has certainly stood the test of time. It would look stunning in both modern and period settings due to its simple yet elegant design. The bullseyes have been hand-carved into the limestone under either side of the mantel, while the jambs demonstrate moulded detail.
