About the Item

An attractive steel and nickel firegrate, in the mid Georgian style, the pierced and engraved fretwork of floral pattern, tapering column legs with bulbous urn finials. The fretwork, legs, and finials in nickel with polished steel front bars and cast iron back, late 19th century. A pair with FG1126. Measures: Width at front: 610 mm 24" Width at back: 375 mm 14 ¾" Height: 679 mm 26 ¾" Depth: 337 mm 13 ¼".
