Danish Mid Century Enameled Fireplace Designed by Hoff & Windage for Tasso

About the Item

Exceptional enameled fireplace made in Denmark, designed by architects Hoff & Windage for Tasso, circa 1950's. The fireplace comes with its' original curved fender, screen, grate, flue, and damper. Chic, stylish and hard to find piece from the Golden Age of Danish Mid Century design, the fireplace is not only a beautiful objet, but it is amazingly efficient in dispersing heat to keep you cozy and warm in the cold winter months. This example is in very fine original clean and ready to use condition, showing only minor wear, normal and consistent with age. Specifically it shows two inconsequential flaws to the red enamel finish, again, inconsequential. Total H 32.5 x D 19 x W 18.5 x H of opening at Front 14.25 x Diameter of vent hole 6 inches.
