Fabulous Geo. IV English Pierced Brass Fireplace Fender with Cast Brass Paw Feet

About the Item

This is a wonderful and fine antique English Geo. IV pierced solid brass Fireplace Fender with handsome original cast brass lion's paw feet. It still retains its original steel pan and there is an illegible maker's mark (illustrated). This fender, unlike most, is practically pristine. It barely shows any dings, bruises or wear and what is shown is far better than traditional age-appropriate conditions on most fireplace fenders. It is also extremely fine, heavy gauge brass.
