French Early 19th Century Louis XVI Style Marble Mantel
About the Item
A most elegant French early 19th century Louis XVI st. Sarrancolin marble fireplace mantel. The mantel is raised by fine straight jambs with beautiful and uniquely designed fluted patterns. Above each jamb is a finely sculpted rosette also repeated at the center of the straight apron and flanked by lovely arch shaped fluted designs. Above is the original marble top showcasing the beautiful Sarrancolin marble grain and with a fine mottled border.
