Large 19th Century Victorian Architectural Marble Fireplace Complete with Grate
About the Item
An unusual, large and very imposing architectural antique black marble chimneypiece in the Baroque manner, with baluster pillars in front of rosso verona marble panels supporting a frieze inlaid with Siena marble, all topped of with a black marble roof incorporating a clock shelf. Complete with original marble fender and its original substantial and superb cast iron register grate. Removed from an important property in Barnard Castle, United Kingdom.
Mid-19th century, circa 1850.
