Large restored Victorian cast iron fireplace surround
About the Item
Large restored Victorian cast iron fireplace surround with Corinthian pilasters terminating in rosette capitals, the under shelf is supported by a pair of small pillars and centred in a finely cast tablet. The aperture is framed with egg and dart moulding. Circa 1890.
The fireplace surround has been finished with traditional black grate polish. For detailed sizes please see the size diagram in the image gallery.
