About

The carved limestone Italian Renaissance style fireplace/mantelpiece has a beautifull patina.
The fireback is a rarity, coming from the Mediaval castle of the city of Pau, now a national museum. The castle has had many alterations since it was build as a fortress in 1370. During one of the works altering the fortress into a palace, the heavily used fireback was disregarded and kept by a family in Pau.
Bricks and terracotta flooring also available.
Price of the fireplace: $ 13.000,- Size: H 196 x W 240 x D 44.5 cm
Price of the fireback: $ 6.000,- Size H 106 x W 158 cm.
