Mid 19th Century Gothic Style Antique Steel Firegrate
About the Item
A mid 19th century (circa 1860) Gothic style steel firegrate. The horseshoe shaped dogs with scrolls and foliage surmounted by brass enrichment and knolled shaped finials. The cast fluted fret with centre bar of circles, pyramid shaped cast back of dentils and scroll leaf work.
