About the Item

An attractive steel and nickel fire grate, in the mid-Georgian style, the pierced and engraved fretwork of floral pattern, tapering column legs with bulbous urn finials. The fretwork, legs and finials in nickel with polished steel front bars and cast iron back, late 19th century.
