Reclaimed 18th Century Sandstone Mantel

About the Item

A reclaimed sandstone fire surround dating to the 18th century. This surround was removed from a country property near Shrewsbury. Additional Dimensions Opening height 89 cm Opening width 64 cm Width between outsides of the foot blocks 106 cm.

    Good structural condition. Some blackening to the top due to use. Natural sandstone finish. The lintel is in two pieces, split almost exactly through the centre.
