Regency Slate Fireplace

About the Item

An early nineteenth century English Regency slate fireplace, the cushion moulded frieze centred by plain plaque and flanked by convex roundel corner-blocks, the jambs with conforming moulding, on square footblocks. An interesting and elegant surround in pleasingly austere material. Opening width 92 cm x 91 cm high, outside jamb to jamb 128 cm wide. Ready for installation and use.
