About the Item
Tall antique early Victorian stone fireplace surround of unusual form. Large plinth blocks support plain jambs which in turn support the large shapely frieze, it’s pediment caped with a large carved trefoil.
This fire surround is currently unrestored. The images are of an identical surround which has sold.
