1950's Italian Blue and White Amalfi Tole Bow Chairs
About the Item
A fabulous set of four wrought iron 1950's Italian tole chairs, with hand painted blue and white rippled 3 dimensional bow back rests, gilt faux tassel decoration and perforate seats. This beautiful set of seats is incredibly rare and were most likely bespoke made, not out of place on the Amalfi coast, Miami Beach or the French Riviera, they ooze 50's charm and glamour.
In superb original condition, with the wear and patina you would expect from chairs of this vintage, the paintwork is bright and the metalwork is exceptional. These are heavy and substantial chairs,
