Pair of Mario Papperzini for Salterini Style Garden Dining Chairs
About the Item
Iconic pair of iron patio and garden dining armchairs made in the manner and style of Mario Papperzini for John Salterini. The inspiration for the Janus et Cie round back Amalfi chair with its neoclassical style lattice inset seat and back. The chairs have gracefully curved flat arms measuring 23.5 inches high and end with a round silver finial. The seat measures 16 inches high without cushions. Heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Recently re-painted matte black accented by metallic silver orb finials. Handsome profile from an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Price is for the pair.
