Pair of Sculptural Concrete Zig Zag Chairs, 1960s Switzerland

About the Item

Substantial set of concrete zig zag chairs. Exceptional presence. Stunning presence and design. Industrial steel rebar runs inside the concrete reinforcing the chair and table giving them extra strength. Reminiscent of the Rietveld Zig Zag chairs, this sculptural set features an extremely rare design in this material. Gorgeous patina with lichen and moss stretching across the surface. Good condition with superficial crack on backside of one chair as shown. Extremely heavy and well made. Priced as a set of 2 chairs.
