1896 Pair of Hand-Carved Limestone Obelisk Finials with Bases

About

These hand-carved limestone obelisks with decorative base were salvaged from a church building on 3 West 29th St. in Manhattan. They adorned the top outer corners of the building's roof. The 17 foot height is for the limestone only, not counting the brick below as seen in the photos. Upper pieces are solid limestone. Lower pieces had a brick center to reduce weight and cost. Brick not included. See drawing for measurements in details. Priced for the pair. The top stones can be seen at our 5 East 16th St location in Manhattan.
