Since Old Plank has been importing, ultra-comfortable French club chairs, for almost 30-years, it seemed like a no-brainer, to scratch build a French style club chair, that could be used outside on the patio. What we are offering on 1stdibs, is a club chair, that we have personally tested for 10 years outdoors, with no ill effects.
The wood chosen, is a hardwood called Red Grandis and is FSC Pure (Eucalyptus grandis), a plantation-grown from Uruguay and Is extremely durable and fungi resistant, independently tested in the UK by TRADA Technology.
