Copper plant stand, the square top decorated with repousse floral decoration around the central rounded placement area for a vase, plant or sculpture. The upper part is supported by four Art Nouveau brackets attached to a spirally turned centre post with globes on a four part base with each supporting leg surmounted by a dog's head (probably a greyhound) Most likely created at the turn of the century for a conservatory or botanical room.
