Florentine Neoclassical fluted painted column pedestal, Italy, c. 1940's,
A beautiful wooden pedestal painted in Venetian cream with gold gilt and adorned with four-way scroll garden urn motifs. The square base is tiered with gilt-wood bracket feet while the fluted column shows great detail with the two colors. The pedestal is in good vintage condition with a lovely, time-seasoned patina giving it lots of character and charm.
