A striking French 19th century Neo-Classical st. onyx and ormolu pedestal column. The pedestal is raised by a square onyx base with elegant cut corners and a mottled design with fine ormolu feet. The circular central support showcases the stunning onyx veins and displays a striking ormolu plinth, richly chased Les Oves design, foliate and fluted wrap around bands, and a superb ormolu ionic capital all below the square top display shelf.
