Monumental Pair of French Empire Bronze Mounted Obelisks with Ormulu
About the Item
This finely detailed set of Empire obelisks has drama and impact. Done as a pair of green marble shafts set upon plinths then set upon marble bases with bronze trim. Most likely created in France in the 1800"s they are decorated throughout with classical urns, garlands swags, and more on all four sides. Wonderfully proportioned to flank a doorway or fireplace these obelisks will give a huge impact and make a statement in any room.
