A rare, unusual, and highly decorative antique Moroccan brass, copper and bronze kettle warming stand - brazier (today it would make for fascinating candle or plant stand, fireplace kindling holder, wine cooler ice bucket stand, glass top table or interesting sculptural object) Hand-crafted in Morocco in the early 20th century, having a cylindrical basin, with dual bronze ring handles, incised and repousse foliate scrollwork, over pierced apron, rising on stretcher-joined tripodal supports. Dimensions: (approx) 22" Tall, 12" Wide, 12" Deep, 6.75lbs Basin interior: (approx) 8" Diameter, 6" High Condition Report: Retaining original antique character and charm throughout, including slightly bent frame that does not affect structural integrity or stability, some small losses to lower trim and side panels, all typical wear consistent with age and indicative of use, nothing that detracts from the aesthetics or functionality but only adds to the sophisticated antique character, elegant warmth, and rich historical depth that can only be acquired over long periods of time!
