French Antique Pair of "Pebble-Pot" Raised Garden Planters

About the Item

A French pair of 22" tall raised outdoor planters from the early 20th century. This antique pair of planters from France have been made of cast stone and have playfully decorated sheathed exteriors which have been tiled with stone pebbles, displaying a variety of natural colors and random pattern. They each have a round-shaped top, with thick upper lip, and are raised upon rounded pedestal columns with a square-shaped platform base, which is a seamless continuation of the body of the planter itself. These vessels have a wonderfully old patina and mossy bits throughout.
