French Art Nouveau Period Iron Planter or Jardiniere, circa 1900

About the Item

This turn of the twentieth century French Art Nouveau period iron planter or jardiniere features a large 23 inch diameter scrolled basket with a removable metal tray platform to support potted plants. Resting on a triangular pillar with a tripod base also of intricately scrolled iron, this piece would be ideal in a sun room. It could also be used as a serving piece or dry bar to present bottles and drinks. c. 1900.
