French Modern Cerused Oak, Bronze, Mirrored & Copper Lined Jardiniere Planter
About the Item
This is easily one of the most incredible jardinieres I have come across, between its impressive size, weight and appearance there is nothing like it!
A cerused oak serpentine shaped body gives a rich dark green appearance to the planter.
The four corners are mounted with beveled mirror panels giving it an Art Deco style.
Two high quality bronze handles are mounted to each side of the planter.
An antique patinated copper liner is set inside the planter which gives a beautiful French twist to this piece.
The underside is mounted with several support feet and marked "SK" with several model or serial numbers that I have unfortunately not been able to identify. In my professional opinion it is fair to say there is a fine quality maker involved.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The planter is in overall good condition for the age and its intended use. One bronze handle shows oxidation present, some scratching with finish loss present across surface and a loss to verso of planter exposing oak underneath.
