Pair of Vintage French Hand Carved Stone Campana-Form Outdoor Garden Urns
About the Item
Decorate a patio or garden with this elegant pair of antique outdoor sandstone planters. Carved in France, circa 1970, each flower pot stands on a square base with cut corners over a short pedestal decorated with acanthus leaf motifs. Dressed with side handles and foliate rim, the neoclassical urns are decorated with high relief bacchanal scenes over a melon-ribbed body and figural mask joins. The Campana form vases are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a beautiful patinated weathered finish and evidence of outdoor use. Weight 65 pounds each.
