Very large Swedish 'dug out barrel' from around 1890.

About the Item

Very large Swedish "dug out barrel" from around 1890. This barrel is absolutely massive in its thickness and overall size. The texture and patina that has accumulated over time makes it go from brown to red and gray. There is nothing we don't absolutely love about this piece. The wood has been contracted together and is now a little bit smaller than its original size, but it is still made from an amazingly large pine tree. New bottom and braces on the inside for support. Height: 120 cm/47.2 inch Depth: 55 cm/21.6 inch Width: 62 cm/24.4 inch
