Willy Guhl Inspired Concrete Planter in Cone Shape Made in England, 1960’s

About the Item

A Mid-Century Modern or Modernist Concrete planter from England 1960’s. Made from cast cement that is strong and durable, in an elegant tapered shaped cone, indicative of the mid-century modern era. The surface has a lovely warn and aged patina from weathering and exposure to the elements. Similar pieces are to be found in the Brutalist mixed development in the Barbican in London and throughout Switzerland, France and Austria. This is one of a pair we are currently carrying in stock.
